FAREWELL TO GOOGLE READER
When I first started my adventurous "love affair" with Google, it was two-fold. First, my Tribute to my Mother's (and father's), guidance and teachings about my civil and constitutional rights that led to my conquest of the Criminal Justice System (Gate), which bestowed upon me the title "PRO SE" and paved the way for the Law Enforcers to investigate the injustices of this system. The Gate is still operable, but little by little, it is being dismantled. Which brings me to GOOGLE READER.
You had to "purchase" in bundles, and create tags. The "purchasing" was fine, OH! those articles, but labeling was very intimidating. Then it became real--the reporting, the story, the history, education, and CORRUPTION, which is VERY REAL AND ONGOING. I tried to Tag the NEWSPAPER ARTICLES based on either the headlines, story, Health; Consumer Affairs; Homeless Shelters; New York City--The Big Apple; and the Capital of New York, Albany; The White House; The Courts; and my pet peeve, The Criminal Justice System; The French Connection, along with Racketeering, Influenced Corruption and Organized Crime (RICO).
These Newspaper Articles be it: NEW YORK DAILY NEWS; THE NEW YORK POST, THE NEW YORK TIMES; BLOOMBERG NEWS, THE NEW YORK LAW JOURNAL; THE GOTHAMIST; AM NEW YORK; BBC NEWS, THE WASHINGTON POST, ET.AL., ARE EDUCATIONAL, INFORMATIVE, AND HISTORICAL. The PHOTOS--whether it emanated from NEW YORK'S NOSTALGIC ERA --1930's, to present, or PHOTOS AROUND THE WORLD, were well worth the trips, SANS CARFARE--HATE TO TRAVEL!!!!
Various articles were either "put to bed" before press time, or "buried" before dawn. In any event, those feeds afforded the public, which cannot be found in the daily papers, their Bill of Rights, under the First Amendment: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise, thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble; and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."
I don't like "good-bye's," but I will be purchasing a website very soon, and, hopefully the READER will continue. At least my TAGS are still visible.
Hope to "see" you soon.
